The Privacy Policy is the formal version. This page is the plain-English one: what we actually do with your information, in a small independent operation.
What we hold
Only what the site needs to run: your i.Pro account details if you have one, a record of purchases, your newsletter email if you subscribed, and basic usage analytics. Reading preferences and guest bookmarks stay in your browser, not on our servers.
Where it lives
Your data sits with the specialist providers we use rather than in some private database we manage alone: hosting with Hostinger, email with Brevo, payments with SureCart and Stripe, and advertising and measurement with Google. Each is a established provider with its own security and compliance standards. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — they never touch our systems.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records last as long as your account is active, plus what’s required for tax and accounting. Newsletter data lasts until you unsubscribe. Analytics are retained in aggregate. When data is no longer needed, it’s removed.
Getting a copy, or getting it removed
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email gaurav@idaete.com — it goes straight to the person who runs idaete, not a ticket queue. We’ll verify it’s really you, then action it within a reasonable time. Deleting your account removes your personal data, though some records may be retained where the law requires.
If something goes wrong
If a data breach ever occurs that affects you, we’ll act to contain it and notify affected users and any relevant authority as required by law. As a small operation we can’t promise enterprise-scale infrastructure — but we can promise honesty and speed if it ever matters.
