Security

How idaete protects your account and payments — described honestly for what it is: a carefully-run independent site, not a bank.
Accounts
Passwords are never stored in readable form — they’re secured using WordPress’s standard one-way hashing, so no one, including us, can see them. We encourage a strong, unique password for your i.Pro account.
Payments
All payments are processed by SureCart and Stripe, which are PCI-DSS compliant. Your card details are entered on their secure infrastructure and are never stored on idaete’s servers. We only ever see that a payment succeeded — not how you paid.
In transit
The entire site is served over HTTPS, so data moving between your browser and idaete is encrypted.
Access
Because idaete is run by one person, the circle of people who can access any data is as small as it gets. Administrative access is protected and limited to the operator.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you find a security issue, please tell us before disclosing it publicly. Email gaurav@idaete.com with the details and we’ll respond as quickly as we can. We’re grateful to anyone who helps keep idaete and its readers safe.
